Mummy and daughter in matching outfits!
I wanna be like Mama when I grow up! lol~

Family outfit~

Val is so cute right?! Nowadays, she will request us to hold her hands like this.
So sweet right? :)

There's an Apple on Val's head... wahahhhaah

Time really flies, Valerie is already 18 months old and she will be attending Childcare soon, starting next month. So, our agenda today is to go get her school uniforms!

We can actually purchase them via online and have it delivered to her school but in the end we still decided to make a trip down just in case the sizing turns wrong.

Hey, can see your little tummy liao. Quick suck it in!

So cute right?!! haha... looking at herself in the mirror.

Deciding whether to get a bigger size so at least she will be able to wear it for a good few years! HAHA! Le Hubby even wanted to go to the extend of getting M size lor!

Can't imagine her on first day of school. Hope all is fine.

Ok, Uniforms bought!

Are you ready for school?

Daddy's worried look.

Since we came all the way to Ang Mo Kio, we may as well check out some Makan place out no?

I did some research beforehand and I found this Café which was quite near from our location.

Twenty Grammes - High Rave for its Charcoal Waffle with Salted Egg Sauce with Ice cream

Sorry for the unglam shots... but bo bian only shot with the logo.. Whoops.
Sorry not sorry... wahhaahahah

Ice cream toppings~

The Menu

Literally water from the tap! But don't worry,  it's actually filtered water with a tap stuck on the wall. And even if it's really tap water, it's absolutely alright because Singapore's tap water is so safeeee!

Charcoal Waffle with Double scoop Ice Cream and Salted Egg Sauce $15
- Salted Caramel and Taro Ice cream

Sorry ah! Pardon the ugly pool of SAlted Egg Sauce... Haha!
Not sure how others managed to pour so nicely... Shall practice more!

Waffle was a little dense and a little dry and a little hard... a little of everything. LOL! Salted Egg Sauce doesn't have enough taste to it. Not as creamy enough. And it doesn't goes well with neither the ice cream nor the waffles... It's like a wrong combination altogether.

The Salted Caramel ice cream was a tad too sweet. Taro ice cream was only alright, quite mild.

We wanted to try the savory waffle too, so we made an order of their Ham Cheese Waffle.

Ham Cheese Waffle $9.50
(Belgian Waffle with Turkey Ham, Cheddar Cheese, Mozzarella Cheese, Parsley)

When you slice into the waffles, you get to see strips of hams inside. Actually nothing can go wrong with Ham & Cheese. Just felt that it is lacking of some sauce... Ketchup maybe?

Overall, I felt that this place was a little cramp, not many seats to cater to large crowds. This won't be the kind of place where you will hold long conversations with your friends because long before you even notice, someone else will be eyeing your seats already.
Food wise? Average maybe?

Service: 6/10
Food: 6/10
Overall: 6/10

Thanks for reading~
